B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (GUBEDCET-2020) Details

To select eligible students to enroll for Gauhati University B.Ed Admission, all interested students must appear for a common entrance test which is called Gauhati University B.Ed Common Entrance Test (GUBEDCET). GUBEDCET exam structure is as mentioned below:

a) Total Questions: 100
b) GUBEDCET-2020 Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
c) All questions will be of MCQ type with four alternative choices of which only one answer will be the correct option.
d) The test Booklet and the OMR will be in English. The test will be OMR based.
e) There will be 4 marks for correct answer and (-1) for wrong answer. No negative marks for unanswered questions.

Essential Qualification:

Age: Age must not be less than 18 years and more than 44 years as on dated 01.01.2020. Relaxation of age will be admissible as per the existing rules of the Government of Assam.

The selection will be held in two stages. The first stage will be driving/ screening test and second stage will be the Interview Viva-voce. Those candidate who would qualify the driving/ screening test will be called for Interview Viva-voce. On the basis of the sum total of marks obtained in driving test and Viva-voce, the final select list will be prepared.
