Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released a notification 3 Project Engineer vacancy for the project entitled “Implementation of the AICTE funded Solar and Water projects in the AICTE approved institutes of the North-East region of India” at the Department of Civil Engineering.

1. Project Engineer
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs. 55770
Educational Qualification: PhD degree OR Master’s degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering with 3 years of research/industry experience relevant to the project. OR Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering with 6 years of research/industry experience relevant to the project. Experience of preparation and implementation of DPR in the field of water supply/ water treatment and solar energy/ solar power system will be an added advantage.

2. Associate Project Engineer
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs. 41850
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of research/industry experience in Water treatment/Water supply. Experience of preparation and implementation of DPR in the field of water supply/ water treatment will be an added advantage.

3. Associate Project Engineer
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs. 41850
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of research/ industry experience in Solar energy/ Power systems. Experience of preparation and implementation of DPR in the field of solar energy/ solar power system will be an added advantage.

Eligibility Criteria for Gauhati University B.Ed Admission

As per NCTE norms, a candidate may be allowed to appear in the GUBEDCET-2020 provided that he/she has passed the B.A / B.Sc. / B.Com. or MA/ MSc/M.Com or equivalent degree programme form a recognised Board/University with at least 50% marks (or 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).

To select eligible students to enroll for Gauhati University B.Ed Admission, all interested students must appear for a common entrance test. GUBEDCET exam structure is as mentioned below:

a) Total Questions: 100
b) GUBEDCET-2020 Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
c) All questions will be of MCQ type with four alternative choices of which only one answer will be the correct option.
d) The test Booklet and the OMR will be in English. The test will be OMR based.
e) There will be 4 marks for correct answer and (-1) for wrong answer. No negative marks for unanswered questions.

State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam has released the Admit Card of Pre Entry Test (PET)-2020 for admission into 2- Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course.

Candidates who submitted online application for SCERT, Assam D.El.Ed. Admission 2020 must appear Pre-Entry Test (PET), for which candidates can now download their Admit card form the SCERT website (www.scertassam.co.in) .
