Gauhati University’s online application process for Post Graduation courses is started, students who fulfilled below are given criteria are able to fill an online application for admission at Gauhati University.

MA and MSc Courses (Any One)

1. BA / BSc in the 10+2+3 pattern with Major / Honours in the concerned subject.
2. BCom in the 10+2+3 pattern with at least 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in aggregate in the General Course

45% marks will be calculated on the basis of marks obtained in Part-I & II for courses in 2 + 1-pattern and on the basis of marks obtained in Part I, II, & III in the case of 1 + 1 + 1-pattern.

MCom Courses (Any One)

1. BCom in the 10+2+3 pattern with Major course.
2. BA / BSc in the 10+2+3 pattern with General / Pass Course subjects with at least 45% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in the concerned subject.

Good News! The AHSEC Class 12 Result 2020 Date is announced. The results of the Assam Higher Secondary Final Examination 2020 conducted by AHSEC, Assam will be declared on June 25th. This was announced by AHSEC Chairman Dayananda Borgohain speaking to the satellite channel Dy365 on 4th June 2020.

This year, results will be declared online only. The provision of offline results from centers has been prohibited, to maintain social-distancing, in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

1. Graduate Operational Trainee(Chemical)

Educational Qualification: B.Sc.(Physics/Chemistry) – 03 years course with minimum 60% marks for UR candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates. Candidates with knowledge of Computers will be preferred.

2. Mining Mate-C

Educational Qualification: Intermediate with unrestricted Mining Mate Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS. Candidate must possess 05(Five) years experience at Mining Mate in Underground Mechanised Metal Mines. Candidates must be able to read/write and speak Hindi/Local language.

3. Boiler-cum-Compressor Attendant-A

Educational Qualification: Matric with 1st Class Boiler Attendant Certificate granted by Government Board of any State or Union Territory. 01 yr experience as in-charge with Ist Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of a single boiler with steam pipes of any type or capacity of two or more boilers in a battery or many separate individual boilers whose total minimum heating surface is 300 Sq.mtr. Should be conversant with the operation of oil-fired boilers.

Educational Qualification: Matric or equivalent. The candidate must possess the Ist Class Winding Engine Driver’s Certificate obtained from the Directorate General of Mines Safety.
